Have you ever played Sky Zone before?

So I’m still a fairly unfamiliar with the St. Louis/Chesterfield area, but I recently heard about a place out here called Sky Zone Sports.  Has anyone ever been?  From what I understand, it’s basically like an oversized trampoline field with padded walls on the side.  They supposedly play a 3-D version of dodgeball there, along with a new game they invented called have a game called Sky Zone.

I must admit that I’m rather skeptical.  Sky Zone???  C’mon, it sounds like a bad adventure flick starring Keanu Reaves.  Supposedly it’s a combination of football, basketball, baseball and hockey.

But to be fair, I’ll reserve absolute judgment until I get more info or even go there myself to check it out.  If anyone has played there before, let me know what you think about it.  Is it worth the trip?

In case you’re curious too, the address is 17379 Edison Avenue, Chesterfield, MO, 63005.

Rams Could Get New Owners

ramsvschiefsLooks like ownership for the St. Louis Rams is transferring to Illinois, but the team is staying put. That’s what the St. Louis Post-Dispatch says anyway. Illinois businessman Shahid Khan has entered into an agreement to purchase the team from Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez.

Khan, who is 55, serves as the president of Flex-N-Gate Corp, an auto-parts manufacturer in Urbana, Ill. hopes to be the new controlling stake owner of the St. Louis Rams.

The deal must be approved by NFL owners and Stan Kroenke, who owns 40 percent of the team, has first refusal rights to the others shares. Rosenbloom and Rodriguez own 60 percent of the team after inheriting the shares from their late mother, Georgia Frontiere.

The Rams ended their season with a 1-15 record, the worst in the NFC.

What do you think of the possible sale?

The Saints or the Colts? Make Your Prediction

manning2Regardless of who you are pulling for, the game on Sunday is sure to be a great one. This Super Bowl matches up the two best teams of the season. The New Orleans Saints are trying to win their very first Super Bowl in franchise history. The Indianapolis Colts are trying to avoid a very long winter and speculation of hwo they let this amazing season go to waste.

brees1To be fair though, both teams will be questioned when they lose. They spent the majority of the season undefeated. They only lost late into the season and they dismantled teams like they were lawn furniture.

Who do you think will win? I’m going for the Colts. Feel free to disagree or agree.
